Parental Leave Top-Up

Parental Leave Top-up benefits provide pay replacement to eligible partners who welcome a new child through birth, adoption, or long-term foster. This benefit will pay the difference between the Employment Insurance (EI) or Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP), and up to 100% of your average earnings for up to 12 weeks.
